Our name, Kavanah, is a Hebrew word meaning intention or purpose. It reflects the way we approach every part of our business—from sourcing and roasting coffee to supporting communities around the world.

Hi, I'm Aakash.
Kavanah began with a curiosity about coffee and a desire to learn everything I could about the craft of roasting. What started as a personal hobby quickly became a passion for creating coffee that brings people together while serving a greater purpose.
Today I continue to refine every roast through ongoing education, careful evaluation, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Every coffee is roasted with the same goal: to help you enjoy an exceptional cup while knowing your purchase contributes to something bigger than itself.
